Two Brawleyites arrested for copper theft, felony vandalism and conspiracy


 Brawleyites copper thievesEL CENTRO - Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people for Felony Vandalism, theft of copper wire and conspiracy, after a rash of copper thefts were reported on the outskirts of Brawley.

The thefts and vandalism occurred between March and May of 2013.

With the assistance from Imperial Irrigation District technology; evidence was obtained to identify the two suspects and their vehicle, which were later apprehended on May 6, 2013 by Sheriff Deputies working the Brawley area. 

Eric Gragson, 30 years old, and Adrianna Rivas, 25 years old, both of Brawley, were booked into the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Jail on charges ranging from Grand Theft, Felony Vandalism and Conspiracy.
