NILAND — According to police records, a reporting party advised of concern regarding alleged threats made to her about hurting her dog July 29. The reporting party stated she had a fenced-in yard and the neighbor in question allegedly had a total of seven dogs stating there had been an ongoing issue. No further information was given regarding the alleged threat.
NILAND — Sheriff’s logs reported an alleged missing person was seen in the back of a blue Volkswagen with a camper shell on it passing the library near Coachella Canal Rd.
NILAND — A reporting party advised of an alleged harassment incident July 29 which reportedly occurred in Slab City. It was also advised of a Dodge Ram allegedly being stolen by the same reported subject approximately two weeks ago.
BRAWLEY — Police logs informed of a reported subject with a backpack who appeared to have been allegedly taking out a sheath for a large knife July 29 near an undisclosed residence. The alleged subject was described as a Hispanic male adult, 20 years of age, wearing a dark shirt and dark loose blue pants.
BRAWLEY — An alleged animal problem occurred July 29 where a neighbor’s canine was out and allegedly did not allow her to exist house. The owners of the alleged canine did not answer phone calls regarding the animal incident.
BRAWLEY — According to police records, a subject described as a short Hispanic male adult with no shirt and basketball shorts allegedly attempted to drown a child and other children at the pool of an undisclosed apartment complex July 29. It was also alleged the subject threw sandals at the children. No medical assistance was required and no information on the alleged subject was known regarding residency.
BRAWLEY — It was reported two loose Pitbull canines allegedly killed a puppy on July 28. The reporting party was unable to contact the owners of the puppy, however, it was reported the canines were being aggressive after allegedly attacking another canine on the block.
BRAWLEY — A reporting party advised of an unknown subject allegedly attempting to make entry through a window July 28. The subject in question was described as a Hispanic male adult with no shirt last seen heading towards N. Eastern Ave.
HOLTVILLE — Per sherriff’s logs, a subject was reportedly threatening a party via text messages on July 29, allegedly stating that if he didn’t pay siblings’ debt, they were going to shoot his house. No information was available on the alleged subject.
CALEXICO — According to police records, a green 1998 Toyota Tacoma was reportedly stolen July 30 from a reporting party’s parking lot. Party advised of an employee who allegedly has video of the incident and advised he purchased vehicle last week from ‘Mohica Towing’ in Cathedral City. The reported stolen vehicle was entered in the stolen vehicle system.
EL CENTRO — Malicious mischief was reported July 30 where an unknown subject allegedly damaged the window frame of a door between 10 p.m. July 26 and 6 a.m. July 27. The subject in question allegedly took items from the porch. The reporting party stated they saw a Hispanic female adult driving an older model vehicle, possibly a grey Chevy, south on Orange from 8th St. It was later reported the items in question were a wooden bench and other household items. The reporting party saw the alleged suspect with the vehicle’s trunk open with items inside. The subject in question allegedly drove off and was last seen heading southbound on 8th St.
EL CENTRO — It was reported on July 30 that a male subject last seen wearing a mask allegedly threatened a 20-year old to give him $20 at 7-Eleven or else he would pull a knife on him. Complainant did not give him money, however, it was reported the alleged subject followed him home and was at the corner of 10th & El Centro.
