Â (El Centro, CA) â€“ Tenaska Senior Vice President, Operations and Asset Management,Â Todd S. Jonas slated to be the keynote speaker at the Imperial Valley EconomicÂ Development Corporationâ€™s (IVEDC) Annual Dinner scheduled for November 21, 2013.

Jonas joined Tenaska in 1998 as a key member of the engineering team responsibleÂ for the design, construction and commissioning of the Tenaska Frontier Generating
Station near Shiro, Texas, which was one of the first electric generating plants capable ofÂ dispatching power to multiple grids.
He now oversees maintenance and asset management for the fleet of Tenaskaâ€™s plants, including the newly operating Tenaska Imperial Solar Energy Center South, southwest of El Centro. His responsibilities include everything from day-to-day operations to ensuring value creation for both Tenaska and its customers and partners by controlling costs and optimizing assets. Jonas previously was a leader for Black and Veatch Corporationâ€™s Operation and Maintenance Support Services Group and was plant engineer for Basin Electric Power Cooperative.
