Nancy Wise
November 18, 1941 - February 22, 2023
Nancy Irene Myers was born on November 18, 1941 in Shattuck Oklahoma to Earnie Leafatt Myers and Mildred Mae (Kayhey) Myers. She passed away on February 22, 2023. Nancy grew up in Springhill Tx before moving to Brawley where she lived for the last 42 years. Nancy was a member of First Southern Baptist church of Calipatria for 30 years. Nancy attended Springhill High School in Springhill Texas. Nancy married the love of her life Thomas L. Wise on November 18, 1965. They had two children Tommy and Cody Wise. Tommy and Nancy owned Wise Elections Inc. Together for 39 years where Nancy worked as the secretary for many of those years until due to health issues she retired. Nancy was very involved in her church as a Sunday school teacher where she was able to teach all of her grandchildren and many other children over the years. Nancy loved her family very much and always put them first, Nancy loved being a mom and a granny. She also always enjoyed playing card games with her grandchildren any chance she got. Nancy was very much loved by her family and will be missed beyond words. Nancy is proceeded in death by her parents Earnie L. Myers and Mildred M. (Kayhey) Myers and her sister JoAnn (Myers) Porter. She is survived by her husband Thomas L. Wise, son Tommy (Charlene) Wise of Brawley, Cody (Michael) Rodriguez of Oklahoma, brothers George W. Myers of Texas, Robert Myers of Texas, grandchildren Zach (Bree), Josie, Joseph (Victoria), Samuel, Katie and Jessica. Great-grandchildren Peyton, Logan and Beau. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to think the many Doctors and Nurses and caregivers that took such wonderful care of her over the years. Graveside services will be held on March 3, 2023 at 8:00 am at River View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest a donation to the Gideon bible program that was near and dear to her heart at Gideons.org
A graveside service will be held at 8 a.m., March 3, at Riverview Cemetery.
