IMPERIAL — A series of workshops to assist students interested in applying for freshman admission to San Diego State University Imperial Valley, or any CSU campus, in fall 2020 will be held starting Wednesday, October 2, at the local campus.

The first CSU admission application workshops will be held 4 to 7 p.m. in the Imperial Valley campus computer classrooms, COBL-105 on Wednesday, and COBL-111 on Thursday. SDSU IV is located at 720 Heber Ave. in Calexico. Prospective freshman students are asked to bring copies of their high school transcripts, list of “A-G” courses completed and ACT/SAT test scores.

The application period for admission CSU schools opens Oct. 1 and continues through Nov. 30.

This year, prospective freshmen can apply for full-time admission to the SDSU IV criminal justice degree program and to the psychology degree program as well as part-time admission through the IVUP program, a joint admission program between SDSU IV, IVC, and the county Office of Education that gives students access to a high-quality education with a clear path to earn a bachelor’s degree in four years.
