EL CENTRO — The Imperial County Registrar of Voters has announced the following candidates have qualified for the primary election scheduled for March 3, 2020.

 Superior Court Judge - Seat 1

     Marco Daniel Nunez, Appointed Incumbent

Superior Court Judge – Seat 2

     William Derek Quan, Incumbent

 Superior Court Judge – Seat 3

     William D. Lehman, Incumbent

Superior Court Judge – Seat 4

     Luis A. Plancarte, Incumbent

     Claudia Marie Camarena, Retired Program Manager

County Supervisors – District 3

      Michael W. Kelley, Incumbent

 County Supervisor – District 4

 Imperial Irrigation District – Division 2

      John Brooks Hamby, Water Advocate

      Dilda Dennis McFadden, Retired Consultant

      Ryan D. Childers, Attorney/Businessman

Also included in the press release concerning the March 3 ballot, voters will consider a bond measure for Coachella Valley Unified School District for $230 million and a bond measure for Imperial Unified School District for $30 million. 

Vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed to voters beginning February 3, 2020, the release said. The counting process for vote-by-mail ballots will begin February 18, 2020. Polls for the March 3 Primary Election will be open between the hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. All ballots will be tallied at the Imperial County Registrar of Voters Office.
