BRAWLEY –  The Brawley Police Department responded to a domestic violence incident at 6:14 p.m., February 8, that reported a shooting in the 700 block of Milano Court, according to a press release from the police department.

Officers and paramedics from the Brawley Fire Department arrived on scene and located a male, 47 years of age and a female 43 years of age, with gunshot wounds. Attempts to treat the Brawley residents were unsuccessful and both individuals succumbed to their wounds, according to reports.

There are no outstanding suspects and the Brawley Police Department Investigation Division is investigating the incident as a possible murder/suicide. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Rotner at 760-351-7777.
