EL CENTRO — Karl Manaig, the former Imperial High School student alleged to have made criminal threats in February 2018, was present at the Imperial County Superior Court in El Centro for a motion hearing Tuesday, November 12.

During the motion hearing, Manaig’s attorney, Darren Bean notified the Honorable Juan Ulloa of a potential deferred prosecution agreement, pending two stipulated terms.

Manaig’s defense is requesting the termination of a criminal protective order and probation, pending good behavior.  

A review date for the potential deferred prosecution has been scheduled for Thursday, February 13, at the Imperial County Superior Court in El Centro.
