Alpha Employment Testing, Inc. holds ribbon cutting ceremony in Brawley Thursday evening.

BRAWLEY – Brawley Mayor George Nava held a ribbon cutting ceremony for his new business Alpha Employment Testing, Inc. at 201 North 8th Street in Brawley Thursday, May 18. The well-attended gathering featured catered food by Las Chabelas Restaurant and live music by Turi and the Crew.

Surrounded by family and friends, Nava addressed the attending audience, “Thank you all for coming to our ribbon cutting. This was the building we found to start this business. It needed a tremendous amount of work. We redid everything from the asphalt up. I personally spent about 5 months of my life working on the remodel of the building. I do have a lot of experience of rehabbing properties. I want to thank everyone involved with the process. This is very important to me and its culmination of the work that I have done over the years.”

Nava is the CEO of Nava Commercial Capitol and Real Estate, Inc. in Brawley.

Alpha Employment Testing, Inc. is co-owned by Mayor Nava and Bernice Martinez. The general manager is Esther Duffy and the testing technician is Lilliana Yanez.
