The demand for water–the life-sustaining natural resource that has no substitute-continues to escalate at an unsustainable rate, fueled by popular growth and industrial expansion. The worlds’ fresh water supply is also shrinking due to pollution, draining of underground aquifers, and climate change. As a result, we expect to see a sustained focus and investment in the global water sector for years to come.
Going forward Water will be by far the most successful investment. Productive land with senior water rights is considered the new gold, as a food crisis is upon us. Gold and silver will continue to gain attention as classic hedges against irresponsible politicians printing money as their only way forward… Conventional investments will fluctuate substantially as conventional money frantically tries to be on the right side of the trend of the day….We are in uncharted economic times. The conclusion of this grand experiment rests with the ability to produce adequate ink and paper…Inflation is the current goal of most central banks, to prevent deflation and depression….They will most likely succeed in creating inflation, and probably a manic bout will hit unexpectedly and be severe….Nothing normal is in the cards…
This month, scientists issued a new study concluding that global warming has dramatically increased the likelihood of severe heat and drought-days after a heat wave across the Plains and Midwest broke records that had stood since the Dust Bowl, threatening this year’s harvest. Arctic sea ice hit the lowest level ever recorded. Meteorologists reported that this spring was the warmest ever recorded for our nation….I could go on for pages…..According to Ismail Serageldin, the World Bank’s leading environmental expert,” The WARS OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY WILL BE FOUGHT OVER WATER.”
AS THE GLOBAL POPULATION RISES FROM NEARLY 7 BILLION TO 9 BILLION BY 2050, ADEQUATE FOOD WILL BE ANOTHER CRISIS.
With demand growing and climate change and drought present, a paradigm shift in thinking must take place….He who has the water will make the rules….He who is not informed will be left out which is only normal…All the dynamics are present for a profound period of consternation in the Western United States which is suffering from a water shortage now…Imagine what could happen as drought persists.
Imperial Valley is in the right place with the right resources thanks to a great vision and the back breaking work of the pioneers…They created a desert miracle and this generation must rise to the occasion to create another. The opportunity is exponential and unending enabeling this valley to become one of the most prosperous in the nation…You all know what has to be done…This must be planned and strategically managed. Much needs to be done immediately… This is by far the most interesting opportunity I have studied and after 30 years, it is time.
It is time to let go of the fear based, manipulated past and embrace an extraordinary future. It is time to maximize the value of your assets and do so with enlightened and experienced talent…We are ready…
