SEELEY - A U.S.Marine corps CH-53E helicopter with multiple on board crashed about six miles from Plaster City Tuesday afternoon.  Multiple fatalities have been reported. Rescue crews struggled to get out to crash site.
Reach Air Medical sent two helicopters shortly after the crash at about 2:40 p.m., according to spokesperson Donnie Wharton.Â
The military is sending aircraft to the site to access the situation.Â
NAF is directing all inquiries to their Facebook page.Â
The CH-53E is the Marines heavy lift operator with three engines, seven blades, and can carry up to 50 combat-ready marines or 30,000 pounds of cargo.Â
