Miguel Miranda nearing the end of his City Council term



BRAWLEY – At the regular Brawley City Council meeting of Tuesday, November 19, Brawley Mayor Pro- Tempore Miguel Miranda got heartfelt thanks and accolades from his fellow Council members and Mayor Sam Couchman.

“I want to thank Miguel for his service to City of Brawley,” said Couchman. “He has done a remarkable job of representing the people of this community.”

“It’s been an honor and a privilege and I feel humbled to have been a council member and a servant for my community,” said Miranda. “I was part of a dynamic team. I wish the best for our city and that we stay on the path of continued success.”

Miranda will be replaced November 25 at a special City Council Reorganizational Meeting by Helen Noriega. Noriega won a seat on the Brawley City Council in the November 5th election.

Miranda will be completing a four year term.
