BRAWLEY â€“ At the regular Brawley City Council meeting of Tuesday, November 19, Brawley Mayor Pro- Tempore Miguel Miranda got heartfelt thanks and accolades from his fellow Council members and Mayor Sam Couchman.
â€œI want to thank Miguel for his service to City of Brawley,â€ said Couchman. â€œHe has done a remarkable job of representing the people of this community.â€
â€œItâ€™s been an honor and a privilege and I feel humbled to have been a council member and a servant for my community,â€ said Miranda. â€œI was part of a dynamic team. I wish the best for our city and that we stay on the path of continued success.â€
Miranda will be replaced November 25 at a special City Council Reorganizational Meeting by Helen Noriega. Noriega won a seat on the Brawley City Council in the November 5th election.
Miranda will be completing a four year term.
