Man beaten, found near Meserve Park

BRAWLEY – On October 27, 2013 at about 12:30 p.m., an officer from the City of Brawley Police Department was conducting a follow-up investigation on the 200 block of ‘J’ Street when he discovered a 71 year old adult male unconscious and bleeding.

The officer radioed the Brawley Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance to render medical aid.

The victim sustained injuries to his head. The victim was later transported to Pioneers Memorial Hospital.

Once stabilized, the victim was transported by helicopter to a San Diego area hospital for further treatment.

The Brawley Police Department is looking for anyone who was in the area of Meserve Park or the 200 block of ‘J’ Street this past Saturday, October 26th.
