Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Receives a 911 Disturbance Call from Heber


Sheriff vehicleHEBER – On Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at approximately 9:41 am the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 disturbance call.

Deputies were dispatched to a house located in Heber, California.

Deputies arrived and met with a female adult who they confirmed was the reporting party. She told them that she was involved in an argument with her husband.

She had redness to her wrist, arms, face, and no other visible injuries.

She told the deputies that she had no other injuries and declined any medical aid. The husband was identified as Derrick Lindberg.

He is a Deputy Sheriff who has worked for the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office for approximately thirteen years.

A field investigation was conducted and Lindberg was arrested for 243 (e) (1) PC- Battery and 591.5 PC- Wireless Communication Devices.

Lindberg was booked into the Imperial County Jail and the case will be submitted to the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office for review and or prosecution.
