BRAWLEY – On a brisk Saturday morning, the K.D. Danch arena held the 2nd in a series of 6 gymkhanas that eventually will end in April with belt buckles to winners of each class.

As the popular equestrian day of games continues to attract riders from throughout the Imperial Valley, the competition stiffens up and everyone brings their best game to each event.

Despite the competition, the event continues to be a family affair and a day to unwind from life’s pressures and demands. Laughter and ribbing are an integral part of the fun.

The next gymkhana on January 18th will be hosted by the Barbara Worth Brigadettes. Although the points earned will accumulate for the K.D.Danch awards at the end of the season, the Brigadettes are also a show within a series. High point awards, ribbons, and belt buckles will be given at the end of the day.
