Garcia to host community coffee in Calexico


Community invited to attend and discuss local legislative issues

Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia will be hosting a “Community Coffee’” Friday in Calexico. The event is an opportunity for constituents to meet with the Assemblyman, ask questions about state legislation, and share ideas and community concerns.
“I value the perspectives and opinions I am able to hear when I’m in our district interacting with members of our communities. As your Assemblymember, my job is to represent you in Sacramento. I can continue to do an effective job if we make ourselves available and accessible to hear your concerns on an ongoing basis. I am looking forward to this Friday’s meet and greet in Calexico as we head into this New Year,” said Garcia.

Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) serves as the as the Chairperson of the Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy and represents the 56th District, which comprises the cities and communities of Blythe, Brawley, Bermuda Dunes, Calexico, Calipatria, Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, El Centro, Holtville, Imperial, Indio, Mecca, Oasis, North Shore, Salton Sea, Thermal, Thousand Palms, and Westmorland.
