LA MIRADA — Biola University welcomed Melanie Sanchez of Brawley to the Biola community as she starts her journey as an Eagle this fall. Biola's incoming class represents an accomplished, diverse group of individuals who hail from 47 states and US territories and 34 countries around the world. Students began classes Monday, August 31.

Biola is proud of Sanchez and her commitment to reach her goal of obtaining an undergraduate degree despite starting classes at Biola in an unexpected way.
