IMPERIAL – With the long anticipated autumn winds blowing, the Imperial Valley Expo hosted a Fall Fun Festival on Saturday morning where families enjoyed a fun-filled day of events that included a daunting straw maze to a rock-climbing wall. Other highlights were chalkboard pillars which greeted guests and invited them to share their inner artist creativity by coloring and drawing on the walls.
“I just loved this event and how they set it up,†said Anissa Rubio. I especially loved the chalkboard walls they made for us to color. It is so beautiful.”
Children were intrigued by the famous “Godfrey, The Magician,” who performed throughout the day.
“I learned how to do magic when I was just a child,†he said. “I was always in the library as a kid. I couldn’t do P.E class because of my asthma, so I read magic books, and now I always encourage kids to read books,” stated Godfrey about why he became a magician.
