Brawley’s Mega-Mixer draws large summer crowd

BRAWLEY – The Brawley Chamber of Commerce held their annual summer Mega-Mixer,Thursday, July 25th, at the Stockman’s Club.

Participating businesses and restaurants set up their goods in booths and made valuable business connections with each other and the more than the 200 people that stopped in for an evening of fun and food.

Two restaurants, Kototi Wok, Barbara Worth Country Club, and a cookie enterprise, Sweet Blessings, let their fellow entrepreneurs and clients sample their fare and inform them of their catering and dining possibilities.

Keira Sparks-Jacques, administrative assistant for the Brawley Chamber said, “The event was great, it was well attended and there were smiles all around from the businesses for the opportunity to make business connections they would not have had the opportunity to make otherwise.”
 The new director for Brawley’s Chamber of Commerce was also announced. Jason Zara has been hired to be at the helm of the successful community agency.
