Cattle Call Mariachi Night

EL CENTRO — The city of El Centro and the Consulate of Mexico invite the community to celebrate Mexican Independence at the annual El Grito de Independencia event Saturday, September 14, at Bucklin Park in El Centro.

This release said the event is a free family-oriented celebration that will start at 6 p.m. and go until 9:30 p.m. The celebration will include diverse activities, live entertainment, and food vendors, and will feature Ballet Folklorico from la Casa de la Cultura, Mariachi and Ballet Folklorico from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, (UABC) and the headliner band will be Aferrados de la Sierra, a norteño band from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.
