William “Bill” James Trinwith
November 14, 1950 – April 29, 2016
On the evening of April 29, 2016 Bill passed away in San Diego, CA at UCSD Hospital. Bill was 65 years old.
Bill was born in Oakland, California on November 14, 1950 to his mother Mary Teresa Francis Monaghan and father Rodger Trinwith.
As a proud veteran, Bill served in the United States Army for 20 years. His post military career included graduating from California State University, Chico with a BA in Agriculture and subsequently working for the USDA, later retiring to enjoy his passion of working on his Corvettes and VW Bus.
Bill was an active member of the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, VFW and several of the E Clampus Vitus.
Bill is survived by his sons Roger, Rodney, and daughter Teresa; Loving partner Linda Whannel of Brawley; brother Mike (Pam) of Texas, brother John (Christine) of Georgia, brother Chuck of Montana/Arizona; sister Brigid (Mike) Hyde of California, sister Patricia (Erv) Hotz of Montana. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Rodger and Mary Teresa Francis Trinwith.
Bill will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery in on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 9:30am.
Post Everlasting will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 4:00pm at the American Legion Post 60 in Brawley, CA.
