BRAWLEY – The Spirit West Coast festival is the largest and only multiple-day Christian music festival in the southwestern United States. The festival ranks as one of the premier Christian music festivals in the country, drawing fans from many states, especially from the Western region including California, Arizona, and Nevada. The event’s combined “unique visitor” attendance is typically about 20,000 over the three days.
Spirit West Coast – Monterey debuted in 1997 at the Laguna Seca Recreation Area, located in the Central Coast region of California. 2013 will mark year number sixteen in Monterey, and many Christian music insiders claim the Monterey festival is the absolute highest-quality Christian festival in the country.
Local artist and youth group leader, Wiffy Real will be playing at Spirit West Coast in Monterrey on Saturday August 3.
Wiffy had the highest ticket sales in the worship category for local talent guaranteeing him a spot opening for Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline or one of the other headliners. This means he will play his contracted spot and then later in the evening with his opening act.
Wiffy has agreed to performing a free concert on Wednesday, July 31, at Christ Community Church, at 6th and Orange in El Centro, at 6:30 p.m.
Wiffy invites everyone not cooling off in San Diego to come to a cool, air conditioned concert and hear him perform his music from his 3rd CD, “The Voice of Hope.” If you want a taste, you can go to his website www.vidarealproductions.com and listen to “Dream” on his Simple Melodia CD.
