Volunteers make it happen


EL CENTRO, CA –The Imperial Valley Homeless Task Force (IVHTF) is having a general Task Force meeting on Thursday, March 09, 2017. The meeting will give a summary of the Point-in-Time Count (PITC) conducted on January 27th and 28th, 2017.

All volunteers are invited to the IVHTF general meeting to officially thank those who participated in this year’s count, and to give a better understanding of the IVHTF and the importance of the PITC. Details on the count and its importance are the main topics of discussion for this month’s meeting. Additionally, information will be shared about how far the Point-in-Time Count has come in the Imperial County.

The IVHTF holds general meetings monthly on the second Thursday of each month. On Thursday, March 09, 2017, from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM the IVHTF meeting is being held at the Desert Trails RV Park and Golf Course located at 225 Wake Ave, El Centro CA 92243, in Ryerson Hall.


The Imperial Valley Task force is a community-based collaborative of engaged individuals and organizations working together to eradicate homelessness in the region and address the underlying causes of homelessness to lessen the negative impact of homelessness on individuals, families and the community.
