Valley has more DUI’s over holiday, fewer collisions


CHP new logoEL CENTRO – The California Highway Patrol released their 4th of July weekend statistics showing that this year resulted in a decrease of property damage and in minor injury traffic collisions. The valley stayed safe driving with no major injury or fatal collision victims over the weekend which makes for two straight years in a row.

However, CHP officer Ernesto Ruedas said there was an increase in DUI arrests.
