EL CENTRO – Union Bank sponsored its first “Mix and Mingle Mixer” after a decade of business at the El Centro Branch on Main Street, Thursday, May 21.

“This is the first mixer in over ten years. This event gives us the opportunity to inform our customers and guests of the services we offer.  It is the perfect opportunity for our customers and chamber guests to meet each other and exchange information” stated Lydia Tovar, Branch Service Officer.

Union Bank customers, merchants, vendors and city employees along with the El Centro, Chamber of Commerce personnel and guests arrived with four words on their minds; mix, mingle, relax and unwind. Bank officials considered the evening a complete success.  Close to 200 guests attended the mixer and enjoyed an evening of delicious finger foods, drinks, refreshments and prize drawings.

Abdiel “Sonny” Fletes, Branch Manager was happy to see such a great turnout. “I have worked for Union Bank since 2007, however, this is only my second year at this branch” said Sonny.

Marisol Tabbett, Farmers Insurance Representative stated “This is the first time I have come to a mixer. I am enjoying myself.”

“I would like to think, and hope this will become a yearly event” said Enrique Roman Ramirez, Senior Relationship Banker and notary public.

Attending the event was special guest and partner from San Diego, Paul Johnson, Union Bank business lender.
