Three Brawley 12 U Ballplayers invited to National Youth Baseball Championship in New York

Strike ForceBRAWLEY – For three Brawley baseball players, a dream is coming true – making it to the big leagues.

Three from the StrikeForce Travel Team, Jonathan Gonzalez, Nathan Torrez, and Jude Littrell, accepted invitations to represent the West Coast Team of the National Youth Baseball Championship.

The championship tournament will be held in Yaphank, N.Y., from August 1 -11.

This is a great opportunity for the boys to showcase their talents and to make their hometown of Brawley even prouder.

Only 80 in the United States are invited to attend the 12 and Under Championship Tournament.

Now the fundraising begins to get these three youths to the east coast to play ball.

They estimate an average of $2,500 must be raised per player to cover traveling and boarding expenses.

For those who care to donate to this once in a lifetime experience for these three young boys, make checks payable to Imperial Valley StrikeForce (#46‐1807933).

For further information contact Alex Torrez at 760-554-3214 or Joel Gonzalez at 760-482-8652.
