Tuesday October 1, at 6:00 p.m. the “Pushing the Limits” reading and discussion group will hold its first meeting for fall 2013 at the Holtville Meyer Memorial Library Branch of the Imperial County Free Library.  The group, open to anyone 16 or over, will be discussing the book BOMB by Steve Schindlin as well as voting on other selections to read this fall.  Copies of the book are available for interested parties to check out. The group will be meeting on the first Tuesday of November and December as well.  Its aim is to provoke interesting and civil discussion around books with some connection to science.  For further information, please call Connie Barrington at 760.339.6460.
