IMPERIAL- Imperial hosted the Worthington Square grand opening, November 18, giving the residents an opportunity for an up close and personal inspection of Imperial’s latest project and to find out what else is coming to the Imperial square.
The grand opening included a tour of the entire building, showing off the architectural work, business space, and apartments and their amenities. Many officials commenting positively about the growing town of Imperial
The project started in 2011 when the concept for the ground floor business, upper floor residency was introduced. Construction however, did not start until July of 2015. Although the grand opening precedes the building’s completion, by January 2017 the ground floor business space will be ready. The building totals 58,000 square feet.
The first businesses to move in will be First Imperial Credit Union, City of Imperial Community Service Department, and Mozzarelli’s Bistro.
Above the ground floor business units are 22 single-bedroom units and 26 two-bedroom apartments, and unlike the business space, the apartments are ready.
The renters also have the opportunity to utilize the gym and pool area, for recreational use. Renters may rent the recreational room that is equipped with fireplace, television, kitchen, and outdoor barbecue for party needs.
