SALTON CITY – Wednesday, four police units responded to a 911 call of an agitated pit bull in Salton City around 7:30 a.m.
According to the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office logs, the caller said children were present in the area of the loose pit bull and the caller was frightened for the children.
The animal control patrol was called and arrived around 8:30 a.m. and was able to secure the dog.
HOLTVILLE – Wednesday around 6 p.m. a 911 call went out asking for help for John Porquato who was throwing objects around and disturbing the peace. Three units responded to the call.
According to the Sheriff’s logs, the man had mental issues and was not taking his medications.
The Porquato was taken to the CMH.
