THe-BEATCALEXICO –  A Calexico police officer was dispatched to the Greyhound Bus Station July 20 at 6:39 a.m. in reference to an unwanted male subject inside. When the police officer arrived, he made contact with suspect Dustin Jay Ford, 39.  While the police officer was talking to Ford, he noticed that Ford was displaying signs and symptoms of being under the influence of drugs. Dustin Jay Ford was then taken into custody.   

EL CENTRO – On July 24, the Imperial County Sheriff’s office was called about a 13-year-old female running towards the Imperial County Office of Education.  Sheriff’s deputies intercepted and delivered the girl to the Betty Jo McNeece Receiving Home, however, they later received word she had reportedly run away again. They found the individual and took her into custody, according to reports.
