GLAMIS- Imperial Valley sheriffs received a call from Yuma Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 19, about a man, Isati Sage, who had possibly suffered what appeared to be a gunshot wound.  Sage was riding in Glamis when he heard a loud pop and was unaware whether he had been shot or not.  A unit was sent in response.  The victim was taken to Yuma Regional where it was discovered there was no bullet in his right arm but a metal fuel-line from an engine explosion.  The line was dislodge by hospital staff and Sage was stable.
