sheriffSEELEY, CA – A father reported his daughter’s iPhone, valued at $600, was stolen while she attended the SCORE race Saturday according to the Sheriff’s logs.


The father reported that his daughter had been talking to two boys at the race whom were from Holtville and later her phone pinged in the area of Underwood and Walnut in Holtville.

The daughter claimed her phone was stolen sometime between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m.



SALTON SEA BEACH – Sunday, the ICSO received a call from a residence in Salton Sea Beach that a neighbor in a green house was shooting BB guns from their back yard and the caller had 10 bb holes in her windshield.


Sheriff’s officers made contact with the neighbors and asked them to not shoot their BB guns in the direction of their neighbor’s residence.


The officers also spoke with the parents of the shooters, and asked that the children only use their BB guns under adult supervision and in safe areas.



NILAND – An employee of the United Food Center in Niland reported a white adult male, 40 – 50 years old, wearing a white button down shirt and black shorts carrying a backpack exposed himself to the worker and customers.


He was driving a grayish green motorcycle and reportedly lives out at the Slabs according to the Sheriff’s logs.
