El CENTRO- A road closure will occur on September 15, 2014 through September 17, 2014 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on Gillette Road and Cannon Road. Detours will be available onto Old Highway 111.

EL CENTRO- A missing person’s call was received by El Centro Police Department around 3:59am on September 13, 2014. The call was concerning a male Hispanic juvenile runaway with brown hair and brown eyes. The juvenile’s height was 5’9 and weighed approximately 240. Subject was last seen in El Centro around 6:00pm on September 12, 2014 wearing a white shirt with dark blue shorts.

HOLTVILLE- On September 12, 2014 around 4:47 pm six units responded to a 911 call concerning a dune buggy accident that occurred near the 2000 block on Country Club Drive. The driver of dune buggy was allegedly driving over 50 mph at the time of the accident. Both passenger and driver refused medical attention and walked away from the accident.
HOLTVILLE-On September 13, 2014, four units responded to a 911 call received around 7:37am concerning a trailer fire. Reporting person stated to officers that a large propane tank was in the area near the trailer on fire. When the units arrived the trailer was fully engulfed in flames. It is unknown if the trailer was occupied at the time of the fire.
HOLTVILLE- A Single vehicle rollover occurred on September 13, 2014 around 11:13 am on Highway 98 near Bonds Corner. The female driving the grey Honda Civic complained of stomach pains and was transported to nearest Hospital to be sought after.
CALEXICO- On September 12,2014 Imperial County Sheriff’s Department received a call concerning a theft around 2:14 pm inside a storage unit at Calexico Storage. The reporting person stated his lock to unit was broken and that he believed the theft occurred the night before or early in morning. The alleged items that were taken from the storage unit were “42” green Mexico futbol jerseys costing $45.00 each, 36 white Rio De Madrid Espana futbol jerseys with the numbers “7” and “10” on the back costing $60.00 each, and other miscellaneous item.

NILAND- Four units responded to a call reporting a fire on 4th street around 2:02am September 14, 2014. The reporting person was a neighbor of where the fire was located. The reporting person stated the fire was in a back residence that was a concerted garage.
When units arrived smoke was coming from the building with no visible flames. A subject at the time of fire was seen running south bound through the alley near the fire wearing dark clothing. The fire is now under investigation for arson.
IMPERIAL- On September 14, 2014 Imperial County Sherriff’s department received a call from Los Angeles County concerning an Amber Alert around 1:04am. Juvenile was last seen near 97th Street heading south bound on Hoover Street in Los Angeles County towards. Missing Juvenile is a female with black hair last seen in a French braid with a small mole under right eye. Female was last seen wearing pink/peach colored stripped dress with heart shape earrings.
The Juvenile was taken from the mother’s home during an altercation between the juvenile’s mother and father. The father pointed a gun to the mother’s face, pulled the mother’s necklace off, and took her cell phone. Reporting person stated that female was taken from her father who may be carrying a blue steel revolver handgun.

OCOTILLO- A single vehicle accident occurred on September 13, 2014 at approximately 10:07 pm. Subject inside the vehicle was transported by ambulance to the Texaco near the Desert Field Stop and then life flighted by Reach to nearest hospital. Animal control was called to scene to assist the subject’s dog that was inside vehicle at time of accident that became stuck between two boulders.
CALIPATRIA- A road closure will occur between September 13, 2014 through Wednesday September 17, 2014. The closure is due to an installation of an Imperial Irrigation District drain pipeline. A detour will be affect during the closure.
