ETHe BEATL CENTRO – On Thursday September 4, 2014 approximately 4:30 in the afternoon, a single car rollover accident occurred near Evan Hewes and Highway 111. The driver in the vehicle was found unconscious and had to be life flight to the nearest Hospital.

NILAND-On Tuesday September 2, 2014 four units were called to the scene at approximately 9am for an Imperial Irrigation District employee that reportedly was being threatened with a possible shot gun. Suspect description was a white male thin with dirty blonde hair wearing a black shirt with no sleeves and black shorts.

Reporting person believed suspect lived in a trailer nearby; trailer was inspected and cleared by units. IID employee advised the units that the subject was possibly armed with a handgun. Suspect was found and detained near area of incident.

NILAND-  On September 4, 2014 six units were called to a traffic stop around 8:40 in the evening.  Reporting person stated a truck was driving with large amounts of copper in the back of it. Driver was detained and held for questioning.

WINTERHAVEN-  Tuesday September 2, 2014 Officer Roy Patterson was called to investigate property that was found inside the Sleepy Hollow Trailer Park around 11:37am.

A lock box containing ammo was retrieved at sight. The Officer on sight also found a box of Winchester .40CAL bullets in the grass near trailer park, upon observation 10-11 bullets were taken out.

SALTON CITY-  Three units were called on Tuesday September 2, 2014 to West Shores Assembly of God for a 911 hang up.

After responding to the call, the units found that the call was sent by a female who reportedly passed out during the phone call. The female was responsive when units arrived and taken to nearest hospital to be looked after.

WINTERHAVEN- Tuesday September 2, 2014 Melvin Weston Lachenmeier an elderly white male at the age of 80 5’8 140 pounds was reported missing. Reporting family member told police that he was last made contact on August 8, 2014 when he was traveling from Oregon to his home in Arizona.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt with a picture of Bug’s Bunny on the front. Lachenmeier was also seen wearing khaki pants and a copper bracelet and silver watch. Lachenmeier reportedly suffers from medical conditions and can become disoriented.

HOLTVILLE – Earthbound Farms & Star Sanitation Services reported a portable Sanitation Unit, gray with white roof, attached to a gray trailer with identification number S0527 was taken from the area of Verde School Road and Bornt Road in Holtville area between 09-29-14 at about 5:00 pm and 08-30-14 at about 4:30 am. Photographs below are of an identical portable sanitation unit. Estimated value is $2,500.00.
