CALEXICO-On Monday September 1, 2014 four units responded to a control substance call received from the United States Border Patrol.  95.2KG of Marijuana was discovered amongst 6 people riding in a vehicle near Butter Cup and Interstate 8.

HOLTVILLE- On Sunday August 31, 2014 two units were called to a field outside of Holtville. The reporting person stated two white males dressed in camouflage and hunting gear were trespassing on his field. The two male subjects are believed to be driving a Toyota land cruiser that was grey in color. The reporting person stated to the officer that he had been “peppered” by the two men in question.

SALTON CITY-Two units responded to a 911 call  on August 31,2014 concerning two subjects at the Westshores Market. Reporting person stated to the police that he was the victim of a domestic battery and assaulted by a white male last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue shorts.

He stated to the officers that the subject grabbed him. The reporting person told the officers he had “pinned” the subject’s car in, who was believed to be driving a black four door blazer.

BRAWLEY-On Sunday August 31, 2014 at approximately 8pm three units responded to a call involving a subject with a gun located at B St and Ceaser Chavez.  Subject threw the weapon into the area after being held at gun point. Weapon was later found in area by a responding officer.

EL CENTRO-On August 31, 2014 two units responded to a complainant call near Evan Hewes and Forrester road concerning alleged fireworks being set off in a backyard.

Reporting person stated he spoke with the subjects involved and the subjects refused to stop. Officers contacted the homeowners of the home in question; homeowner stated his daughter threw a spray paint can into the fire located in the back yard resulting in making a loud noise.
