THe BEATEL CENTRO – A call came to the Imperial County Sheriff’s office about a theft of a Blue Mongoose Mountain Bike worth $130 between 6:00 p.m. Sunday to 11:00 a.m. Monday.

 

 

WINTERHAVEN – Sunday, a boat capsized on the Colorado River south of Fisher by Coors Island Saturday evening around 6 p.m. according to the sheriff’s logs.

 

Two units responded, there were no injuries, the occupants, a white, long haired blonde and two females were taken to Squaw.

 

The boat was subsequently recovered.

 

WINTERHAVEN – The Yuma Police called for assistance from the ICSO, Sunday, 7:45 p.m. concerning a RV parked on the Colorado River on the California side around

 

Yuma Police reported a Latino adult without shirt and red shorts had swum to the canal bank and was threatening to kill US Customs Officers.

 

The Yuma Police said the subject was not hiding in the tulies and they would direct the Sheriff’s units to the location.

 

The Sheriff’s office successfully apprehended the suspect and cancelled the ambulance on standby.

 

The subject was booked at the Imperial County Jail for lewd behavior.
