BRAWLEY – On November 7, a vehicle was reported stolen off Casey Road outside of Brawley. The missing vehicle was a Blue Polaris Razor taken from inside a shed on property where the reporting person worked. The worker suspected the Razor was taken any time between November 5-7. The keys were in the Razor and gates were open at time of theft.
EL CENTRO – On November 7, a call came into the Sheriff’s office asking for a patrol to check on people drag racing. Two units were sent out. The vehicles were described as a blue Mitsubishi Lancer, a black vehicle, a silver Toyota Camry with Rogers and Rogers plates, a newer model Dodge Charger, and a white GM SUV with large rims. Per the caller, the vehicles were parked on the side of the road where the asphalt ends on East Villa Road outside of El Centro.
CALEXICO – On November 7, the US Border Patrol called into the Sheriff’s office to inform them that a human skull had been found at the intersection of Highway 98 and North Mirage near Ocotillo. Two units were dispatched to collect the remains.
CALEXICO – On November 7, officers responded to a report of two males spray painting stop signs and wall near Willie Moreno Junior High. Suspects were last seen leaving the area in a silver, Mazda-3. Investigation on the plate number revealed the vehicle returned to a residence on Annos Court in Calexico. Suspects stenciled the words “Hodge” and “Kim” on stop sign. Officers attempted to contact registered owner on Annos Court, but father advised the registered owner was not there. A report was taken.
