JULIAN – From the San Diego Chamber of Commerce:
Friends—Julian is one of the gems of San Diego’s East County and they need our support.  Due to the Banner Fire our friends in Julian had no choice but to cancel their annual 4th of July Parade and festivities.  I am certain that the residents of Julian count on this annual event to boost their economy and keep the businesses and town thriving. Â
Let’s show them support and celebrate the town of Julian!  Simply RSVP to this event and agree to visit Julian on July 12th or 13th.  Shop in a local store, have a meal at a Julian restaurant, stay overnight at a B&B or drive up for a slice of famous Julian apple pie.  It’s that easy.  Let’s show Julian that they are an important part of our community.  Let’s celebrate Julian! See you there!

Celebrate: Saturday 7/12 and Sunday 7/13 in the Town of Julian
Plan to stay for the weekend, you are welcome to join us at the bar-be-que/ fundraiser at Nickel Beer Co. on Sunday afternoon. We are raising money for John Raifsnider, whose home burned in the Banner Fire that caused the Parade to be cancelled.
