BRAWLEY – The Saint Mary Margaret Church held their annual Primavera Ball at Hidalgo Salon, extending for the first time their invitation to the local community to join the Catholic Church members in an evening of food and music.
“We need to evangelize together and start spreading the word within the community,” said Miguel Miranda, chairperson and event organizer. “We need to get out and love one another.”
The Primavera Community Ball, as it is called for the first time this year, is a spring celebration held after Easter to celebrate the resurrection of Christ according to Miranda.
The gathering traditionally was an event for parishioners to come together, this year they invited the entire community.
“This is possible because of the community as a whole and God guiding us on the right path,” Miranda said, “We could not of done it without the community and the people who came.”[envira-gallery id=”56042″]
