Committee focuses in shaping policy challenges surrounding water and parks
SACRAMENTO â€“ State Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon announced today his appointment of Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) to the Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife.
â€œI am excited about serving on the State Assembly Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife,â€ said Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia.Â â€œOur district has a seat at the table as we look for sustainable solutions for water issues and the Salton Sea,â€ stated Assemblymember Garcia.
The Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee primary jurisdictions are water resources, flood management, fish and game, parks and recreation, and wildlife.
Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) is the Chair of Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy; and serves on the following committees: Transportation; Appropriations; Governmental Organization and Utilities & Commerce. New to the Assemblymanâ€™s work load is the Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife.
