Robin attended Collegewood Elementary School, Suzanne Intermediate School, and Walnut High School where he graduated in 1974. As a fifth generation Californian, he lived in the communities of Hacienda Heights, Walnut, San Diego, Fullerton, Chino, and settling in Brawley where he met and married, Maria Theresa “Teri” Dominguez on November 27, 1999.

With the support of his colleagues at Calipatria State Prison, Robin was able to retire with 20 years of service from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation as a Corrections Officer in July of 2014.

Robin loved sports of all kinds, as he was a team captain in every sport he played. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, and NASCAR on television with friends and family.  He was a motor-cross racer and later raced his go-cart. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, and boating.

Robin was well liked by all who knew him and maintained friendships from his grammar school and high school days through the remainder of his life.  His dry wit and sense of humor along with his willingness to help any who asked were some of his best attributes.  He was dearly loved by family and friends and will be truly missed.
