Registrar of Voters – “Still time to register to vote”

EL CENTRO – Voters of Imperial County should be receiving their Vote-by-Mail Ballots and Sample Ballot Booklets beginning Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

 

Voters, who still vote at a poll site, should review their sample ballot booklets to locate their proper voting precinct.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

 October 9 to October 30, 2012 – Vote-by-Mail Ballot Application Period. Between these dates voters may apply for a vote-by-mail ballot from the Elections Department.

 

October 22, 2012 – last day to register to vote for the November 6th Presidential Election

 

BALLOT BOX LOCATIONS – The Registrar of Voters will be placing ballot boxes at each of the City Clerk’s Offices; Brawley, Calexico, Calipatria, El Centro, Holtville, Imperial, and Westmorland. Voters may drop off their voted Mail Ballots at any of the locations beginning October 9th thru November 2, 2012. Ballot boxes will be picked up by the end of business on November 2nd.
