BRAWLEY – Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District supports the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s disease. The Davis Phinney Foundation helps people living with Parkinson’s to live well. The foundation sponsors programs that provide information, tools and inspiration that can be used to live better with Parkinson’s disease.

 

Over the last two years a team of five bicycle riders was formed named “Friends for Phinney Coast to Coast”. The team has been pedaling throughout different states to raise money and awareness for the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s disease.

 

The members of “Friends for Phinney Coast to Coast” visited Pioneers Hospital, interacted with the staff and had lunch at the PMHD cafeteria. It is important for Pioneers hospital to support foundations such as the Davis Phinney Foundation. Pioneers Hospital will continue supporting foundations and different healthcare groups that raise money and create awareness and sponsor programs that provide information, tools and inspiration to the community.
