From the first few settlers who helped bring water into the parched desert, to the modern day pioneers who are still shaping history, the Imperial Valley has been blessed with an amazing lineup of pioneers. Pioneers’ Museum, across from I.V.C., celebrates all of those who have helped create the Imperial Valley.
On Saturday, February 1, the museum will host Pioneers’ Day, featuring interactive historical displays, entertainment, rides on historical vehicles, and lots of activities for kids of all ages, great food, and much, much more. This is a FREE event for the whole family.
The Imperial County Historical Society and Pioneers’ Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the life and history of the early settlers of the Imperial Valley. Call 352-1165 or email curator@PioneersMuseum.net for details.
