IMPERIAL – The Imperial Valley Historical Society along with the Pioneer Museum invite all to come Friday night at 6:00 p.m. to their ceremonial lighting of the historic Holly Sugar Sign and Airway Beacon.
Both Valley iconic landmarks have been carefully restored and preserved by the Pioneers Museum curators.
This ceremonial lighting kicks off a big weekend for the museum as the 3rd Annual Pioneer Day follows on Saturday with pioneering activities planned for the whole family.
Part of the activities includes rides, food, and photo opportunities. The activities start at 10:00 a.m. and run until 3:00 p.m.
The Museum is located across the street from the Imperial Valley College at 373 East Aten Road, in Imperial.
