Vicki Alexander Ray, 58, was born July 14, 1958 in Brawley. She passed away on November 5, 2016, at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego after a lengthy illness.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14th at Frye Chapel in Brawley, with a luncheon to follow at The Stockmen’s Club of Imperial Valley, in Brawley.

She worked in Brawley at Mayfair and IV Farms Markets for many years, before moving to Yuma, Arizona in 1998. Vicky worked for the Yuma Unified School District in the cafeteria where she helped prepare meals for 600 students daily.

Vicki had an infectious laugh and smile and was a person that loved meeting and getting to know others. Everyone that had the opportunity to meet her loved her. She loved life, her family, and her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Ray, and son, Preston Ray.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan Ray of Brawley, and Trace Ray of Yuma, her mother, Mary Alexander, sister, Deidre McKinley and family, grandsons, Jaxon, Hayden and Brody Ray, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
