Angelica Maria Cardiel was born July 31, 1971 in King City, California to Antonio and Angelina Cardiel. She was the first born of four siblings. Marco Antonio Cardiel, Flor Rocio Cardiel-Overton and Fabian Cardiel. She attended Brawley School District and resided in Imperial Valley her entire life. She was a 16-year veteran of the California Department of Corrections and served as a Correctional Officer at Centinela State Prison. Angelica was a loving mother to three amazing children, Monique Danielle Sambrano, Deanna Michelle Sambrano and super hero Zac.
Deanna Michelle Sambrano was born on January 11, 1993 in Brawley, CA to Angelica Maria Cardiel and Daniel Sambrano. She graduated from Central Union High School in 2011. Deanna had a beautiful giving heart and an amazing talent for baking. Her life love was her little brother Zac that she helped raise and care for.
Superhero Zac aka “snack” was born on March 1, 2012. He was bigger than life and had an unending love for sports, music, superheroes, dancing, singing and family. His brilliant mind, sweet smile and exceptional athleticism will be greatly missed.
Sadly, their lives were tragically taken on March 6, 2017. Their family and friends would like to invite everyone to celebrate the beautiful, joyous lives they lived.
All services will be held on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 at Gateway Church in Brawley, CA.
Viewing will be from 9 – 10:00 a.m. with services from 10:00 a.m. noon at Gateway Church.
Angelica, Deanna and Zac, will all be laid to rest immediately following the services at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
