IMPERIAL COUNTY – Roger Becker has been selected by the board of directors to be the new President and Chief Executive Officer for Farm Credit Services Southwest (â€œFCSSWâ€).
Roger grew up on a corn and cotton operation in Southeastern Arizona. After graduating from the University of Arizona, he began his Farm Credit career in 1986 in the Central Valley of California.
Roger joined FCSSW in 1992 and has served in various capacities within the organization.Â For the past 10 years, Roger has served the Association by managing risk in the portfolio and was promoted to Senior Vice President â€“ Risk Management Officer in January 2013.

Additional staff changes include the promotion of Bill Collins to Senior Vice President and Branch Manager over the jointly managed Imperial/Yuma Branch. Bill has been instrumental in the success of the Association for over 25 years; he is active in the ag community and serves on the COLAB board.
Dan Briskey also recently joined the Imperial/Yuma branch as Vice President and Assistant Branch Manager.Â He is a seasoned lender who brings an added level of knowledge and expertise to the team and has over 30 years of ag lending experience.
Farm Credit Services Southwest is the largest lender to agriculture in Arizona and Californiaâ€™s Imperial Valley and has been serving the ag community since 1917.
It extends more than $1 billion in loans from four branch offices and has paid over $44.2 million dollars in patronage refunds to its members since 2001. In addition to providing loans and leases, the organization offers a range of agricultural-specific financial services, including leasing and equipment financing, life insurance, appraisal services, and crop insurance.
