The Navy Region Southwest Fleet, Fighter, Family, Champion Award is designed to recognize individual citizens that provide outstanding support our shore installation mission and improve the lives of our “Fleet-Fighter-Family†in the Southwest region.
Recognizing San Diego’s long history and association as a “Navy†town in addition to our over-the-horizon(Imperial Valley) installations, we would like to acknowledge the many efforts of the citizens who support us. We know there is great work going on every day, unseen, unrecognized, un-praised.  We would like to change that and show the local community how appreciative we are of their support.
Champion Award recipients will be presented their award by Rear Admiral Patrick Lorge, Commander, Navy Region Southwest at a special place where there will be the Navy’s Birthday Celebration. Recipients must be present to receive their award and may not designate someone to receive the award on their behalf.
