Margaret M. Sepulveda
July 20, 1932 – March 2, 2015
Margaret Sepulveda was born on July 20, 1932 in Brawley and passed away on March 1, 2015 from complications caused by Alzheimer’s disease. Margaret was a dedicated mother, grandmother, homemaker, and vital member of the community.
She was employed by the Bracero Program and Imperial Stores for many years. While working for the Bracero Program she met Juan Sepulveda. Margaret and Juan were later happily married and raised 5 children in Brawley.
For over 3 decades Margaret was a dedicated and active member of the ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens) in the Imperial Valley. Her words, wisdom, and kindness touched everyone in her presence. We will all miss her strength, integrity, and self-respect that she carried with her always.
The Mass Service will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Burial will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Riverview Cemetery after the Mass service.
The Rosary will be on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary at 7:00 p.m.
She is precede in death by her husband, Juan Sepulveda, her mother, Amparo Estrada, her father, Felix Estrada, and her brother, Isidro Estrada.
The survivors include her daughter, Barbara DeAvinni, her son, John Sepulveda, her daughter, Terry Swing, her daughter, Rita Sepulveda, her son, Mike Sepulveda, three grandchildren, her brother, Felix Estrada, and her sister, Marion Gallegos.
